Kildeer STEP Information

The Kildeer Police Department has instituted a department-wide program called the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP). This program provides for high-visibility patrols of problem areas identified by accident statistics and public input. The traffic officer is assigned to these areas throughout the day to monitor speed and safety violations. In addition, patrol officers are assigned to patrol these areas during the course of their patrol duties.
